<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damper device that can eliminate rattling in a spline coupling section between an inertial body and a shaft. <P>SOLUTION: The damper device includes a first shaft 1a that outputs rotational force from a power source; a second shaft 29 that transmits the rotational force to a gear mechanism, and has an external spline 29a; first rotating members 20, 21 to which the rotational force of the first shaft 1a is transmitted; a second rotating member 28 that spline-engages with the external spline 29a; a damper section 3a that absorbs torque variation between the first rotating members 20, 21 and the second rotating member 28; and an inertial body 30 that has internal splines 31a, 32b that spline-engages with the external spline 29a, and has a substantially annular shape.
