<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidifier which can suppress the breeding of mold and various germs in a vaporized filter by drying sufficiently moisture included in the vaporized filter after a stop of humidification operation, and to provide its control method. <P>SOLUTION: In drying operation in which the rotation of the vaporization filter 14 infiltrated by water after a stop of humidification operation is stopped and in which the vaporization filter 14 is dried by blast operation by a blower 12, after blast operation by a blower 12 is performed for a fixed time, the vaporization filter 14 is rotated so that a region of the vaporization filter 14 concealed behind the water supply tray and hardly dried may be exposed more than a water supply tray. Furthermore, the whole surface of the vaporization filter 14 can be dried certainly and sufficiently by performing blast operation by the blower 12 for a fixed time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
