<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat cable which has a terminal part easily inserted into a connector and can be folded by making a distance between the flat cable 1 and the connector 2 short after the flat cable is inserted, and provide a manufacturing method of the flat cable. <P>SOLUTION: In the flat cable, a plurality of conductors are arranged in parallel and adhered and covered by insulator films from the upper and lower sides. In a terminal part 1b, an end part 3a of the conductors is exposed by removing one of the insulator films 4, and a reinforcing tape 5 is adhered onto the other film of the insulator films 4 covering the end part of the conductors. The reinforcing tape 5 has an extension part (D2) protruding from the connector in the longitudinal direction of the cable while the end part 3a of the conductors is inserted into the connector. The extension part is not adhered to the insulator films 4, and a break 8 is formed on the adhesive surface side of the reinforcing tape at the boundary between a part 7b where the extension part is not adhered and a part 7a where the extension part is adhered. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
