<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost knitted tricot fabric having high strength of cloth, used for a female member for a hook-and-loop fastener, exhibiting a large engagement force with an engagement element, and showing no difference between right and left engagement forces when engaging the engagement elements from both right and left directions. <P>SOLUTION: This knitted fabric for the hook-and-loop fastener is the knitted tricot fabric comprising a knitting yarn in a front face part, a knitting yarn in a middle part and a knitting yarn in a rear face part. In the knitted fabric for the hook-and-loop fastener, the knitting yarns in the front face part, the middle part and the rear face part are each formed with loop parts each prescribed interval, the loop parts formed in the knitting yarn in the front face part and the loop parts formed in the knitting yarn in the middle part are connected, and the loop parts formed in the middle part and the loop parts formed in the rear face part are connected. A same number of piles formed by the knitting yarn in the front face part constituting the knitted tricot fabric are alternately right and left formed, and a knitting direction of the loop-forming knitting yarn in the front face part is opposite to the knitting direction of the loop-forming knitting yarn in the middle part while the knitting direction of the loop-forming knitting yarn in the middle part is opposite to the knitting direction of the loop-forming knitting yarn in the rear face part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
