<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator for a valve improving sealing performance by increasing thrust for operating a valve while downsizing the whole body and reducing the number of parts, applicable to a valve for a high pressure fluid, improving the durability by distributing a load applied at a movable time, reducing the number of the parts by simplifying an inside structure, and easy in assembling to the valve and adjustment. <P>SOLUTION: The actuator for a valve has a built-in thrust increasing mechanism 30 increasing the thrust of a piston 25 by an air-driven actuator to close a valve 35. In the thrust increasing mechanism 30, a plurality of balls 28 are disposed on an upper disc face 38 of a valve driving output shaft 26, and the balls 28 are held between a fixed disc face 50 at a lower end of a shaft 43 and a tapered planar face 48 having a conical tapered planar part 31. The operation of the piston 25 moves the balls 28 between the disc face 38 and fixed disc face 50, and the thrust of the piston 25 is increasingly output to the output shaft 26. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
