<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin illumination display device with a simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: The display device comprises a flat plate like display member composed of a transparent light conduction member. The display member is supported by a frame-like supporting frame. A light source including a plurality of LED elements is fixedly housed in the supporting frame. The plurality of LED elements in the light source are arranged along a longitudinal direction of an outer side end face of the display member while facing at least the outer side end face.
