<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance perspective in a captured image. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing device comprises: a detection unit which detects a subject distance in each area of the captured image; and an image processing unit which, according to the subject distance detected with respect to each area of the captured image, changes the distance feeling of an image in the area. The image processing unit may enlarge the rate of a blue component included in an area in which the detected subject distance is larger than a reference value, for example.
