<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user of a video distribution service to select a video distribution service suitable for the user's video reproduction environment and efficiently search for a cause of a problem in video reproduction. <P>SOLUTION: The video distribution server calculates an objective evaluation value on the basis of data received from a terminal, encoded video, and evaluating video by using an objective evaluation algorithm capable of quantifying subjective quality that a person feels when viewing reproduced video, and transmits the objective evaluation value to the terminal. The terminal receives and decodes the video data, and acquires the objective evaluation value from the server. The terminal displays video data, the objective evaluation value, and visualized parameters, such as receiving/reproduction terminal information, decoded video, encoding parameters, an encoded bit stream extracted from encoded video received from the video distribution server, and a result of analyzing the encoded video and the encoded bit stream. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
