A radar device including a transmitting means for transmitting a radio wave and a receiving means for receiving a reflection wave of the radio wave transmitted from the transmitting means and detecting an object on the basis of the reflected wave received by the receiving means comprises: a distance detection means for detecting, among a plurality of distance bins, a presence distance bin in which the object is present; a direction detection process executing means for, when a predetermined condition is satisfied, executing processing for detecting a direction in which the object is present, in another distance bin which is selected among a plurality of distance bins each capable of being calculated as a relative distance to the object and is different from the presence distance bin detected by the distance detection means; and a presence region detection means for, on the basis of the execution result by the direction detection process executing means, detecting a region where the object is present. |
