摘要 <p>The method involves controlling charging state of a traction battery (9) to desired state by a control unit. Target charging state is lower than maximum charging state of the traction battery. Difference between the maximum charging state and the target charging state is determined in response to kinetic and potential energies of a motor car. Target operating conditions are determined in response to a kinetic energy of the motor car. The electric energy is partially stored in the traction battery if preset loading conditions of the traction battery are satisfied. An independent claim is also included for an electrical system for a motor car, comprising a traction battery.</p>
