<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a precursor of an active material having high capacity and excellent durability for operating cycles at high potential. <P>SOLUTION: An active material obtained by firing the precursor in the air has a layer structure and is represented by a formula (1) below. In firing the precursor in the air, the temperature at which the precursor becomes a compound with a layer structure, is 450°C or lower. Li<SB POS="POST">y</SB>Ni<SB POS="POST">a</SB>Co<SB POS="POST">b</SB>Mn<SB POS="POST">c</SB>M<SB POS="POST">d</SB>O<SB POS="POST">x</SB>F<SB POS="POST">z</SB>(1) [in the formula (1), an element M is at least one kind of element selected from a group consisting of Al, Si, Zr, Ti, Fe, Mg, Nb, Ba, and V, 1.9≤(a+b+c+d+y)≤2.1, 1.0≤y≤1.3, 0<a≤0.3, 0≤b≤0.25, 0.3≤c≤0.7, 0≤d≤0.1, 1.9≤(x+z)≤2.0, and 0≤z≤0.15]. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
