摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stereoscopic image display device having an increased resolution. <P>SOLUTION: A stereoscopic image display device comprises a flat display part including a first to a third subpixels having respective different color components arranged in a matrix and a light beam controller to control beams from the flat display part which is disposed opposite to the flat display part and has a plurality of optical apertures of which respective extending directions are approximately parallel to a column direction of the subpixels of a display screen. In the flat display part, the first subpixels are arranged in a first subpixel row, the third subpixels are arranged in a second subpixel row adjacent to the first subpixel row, the second subpixels are arranged in a third subpixel row adjacent to the second subpixel row, and the third subpixels are arranged in a fourth subpixel row adjacent to the third subpixel row.
