<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae which can express immunoenhancing effect on non-human animals by safely supplying a cytokine to non-human animal bodies, methods for preventing and/or treating diseases of non-human animals, a system for safely delivering a cytokine to non-human animal bodies, a new vaccine adjuvant, and a vaccine preparation for non-human animals. <P>SOLUTION: The Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae is a transformant of attenuated strain of Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae, wherein the Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae has a recombinant DNA coupled with a gene encoding a cytokine and expresses the cytokine. The cytokine is one or more kinds selected from the group consisting of an interleukin, an interferon, a hemopoietic factor, a cell growth factor and a cytotoxic factor. The Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae is also suitably used for methods for preventing and/or treating diseases of non-human animals, a system for safely delivering a cytokine to non-human animal bodies, a new vaccine adjuvant, and a vaccine preparation for non-human animals. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
