<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of a continuously variable transmission for a vehicle, which can surely prevent belt slip when sudden braking is requested in a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: When the sudden braking is requested in the vehicle, operation of each transmission control solenoid is prohibited to maintain a current transmission ratio and linear solenoid secondary sheave oil pressure is increased to prevent the belt slip. An increase amount of the secondary sheave oil pressure is set large as brake depressing force is large so that the belt slip is surely prevented when the sudden braking request is relatively high and a fuel consumption rate is improved (fuel consumed by drive force of an oil pump is reduced by reducing an oil discharge amount of the oil pump) when the sudden braking request is relatively low. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
