<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector capable of reducing length dimensions of a latch portion in a mating connector inserting direction. <P>SOLUTION: A connector can be connected with a body 11, and a plug 10 (a mating connector) which has a locking portion 13a provided on an outer surface of the body 11. The connector comprises a housing 100 having a connection hole 110a in which the body 11 and the locking portion 13a of the plug 10 can be inserted, and a latch portion 113a provided on an inner surface of the connection hole 110a and capable of locking the locking portion 13a of the plug 10; and a reinforcing piece 380 disposed so as to abut against the latch portion 113a and having mechanical strength higher than that of the latch portion 113a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
