ELECTRON BEAM IRRADIATION METHOD

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electron beam irradiation method capable of suppressing variation in core loss values in the plate width direction by performing electron beam irradiation exactly in response to the alteration of strip width even when the strip width alters.

SOLUTION: When electron beam scanning is continuously performed in the width direction of a travelling metal strip by a plurality of electron guns, the position of each electron gun is adjusted both in the direction parallel to the width direction of the strip and the vertical direction to the strip surface in response to the position alteration of the strip used as an irradiation object.
