<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a method and a condition for culturing a large quantity of neural stem cells which can maintain the cell in a self-regenerated state in which the cell is symmetrically divided. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a neural stem cell population wherein at least 90% of the cells are symmetrically divided neural stem cells, and not more than 1% of the cells are positive to expression of markers for mature astrocytes, neurons and oligodendrocytes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
