<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an authenticating or verifying document which incorporates a page that has both a microchip for holding data in an electronic form and a sheet capable of including data in a visual form embedded therein. <P>SOLUTION: In the authenticating or verifying document, a page 10 incorporating an inlay including a microchip 7 which holds data associated with a holder intended by the authenticating or verifying document, and enables encoding of the data in an electronic form, a sheet 3 of a material capable of including the data in a visually legible form, and plastic layers 2 and 6 having the inlay and the sheet 3 stacked therebetween in order that the inlay and the sheet 3 of the material are embedded into the page 10 are incorporated therein. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
