<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operability in attaching a connector plug to a connector socket and in releasing the attachment, and also to provide reliable attachment. <P>SOLUTION: A connector plug 4 comprises: a plug body part 4a; and a latch part 25 which is supported by the plug body part 4a and is attachable to and detachable from the plug body part 4a. The plug body part 4a comprises: a cylindrical part 21 having an opening on one end covered by a lid; a plug projection 29 which is formed on an outer periphery of the cylindrical part 21 and extends in a convex manner to the outer side in the radial direction of the cylindrical part 21; and a latch insertion groove 32 which is formed along the axial direction of the cylindrical part 21 by cutting out a root portion of the plug projection 29. A pair of support plates 34 are supported by the plug body part 4a, and they are elastically deformable when pressed from the outside. Each of the support plates 34 comprises two portions, i.e., an insertion portion 39 and a projecting portion 40.
