<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency of communication processing when receiving data from an external device according to a prescribed communication protocol by providing a communication control device realizing efficient protocol processing. <P>SOLUTION: A communication control device performing communication with another device wirelessly or wiredly includes a communication unit for generating reception data from a signal received from the other device and a transfer unit for performing data transfer from the communication unit to a main memory unit and an auxiliary memory unit connected to a bus different from that of the main memory unit by direct memory access (DMA). A communication control unit controls the transfer unit to perform first transfer processing to transfer the reception data to the main memory unit, and during performing the first transfer processing, controls the transfer unit to perform second transfer processing to transfer part of data including a header among the reception data to the auxiliary memory unit. When data transfer to the auxiliary memory unit in the second transfer processing has finished, header analysis is performed with the use of data stored in the auxiliary memory unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
