PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the difference of glossiness between a first area and a second area in an image formed on a recording material.

SOLUTION: An image forming device 100 comprises: an image forming mode acquisition part 211 for acquiring whether the image forming mode of the image forming device 100 is a "four-color mode" or a "five-color mode" by forming an image by fixing a color toner image or a color toner image and a clear toner image on a sheet or is an "additional printing mode" for forming an image by fixing a clear toner image on a sheet on which a color toner image is fixed; and a fixing temperature control part 215 for controlling a fixing temperature so that a temperature for fixing a clear toner image on a sheet is lower than a temperature for fixing a color toner image in the "four-color mode" when the image forming mode of the image forming device 100 is the "additional printing mode".
