<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording device that enables easy and accurate confirmation of a moving image file having the same contents as one recorded on a plurality of recording media simultaneously. <P>SOLUTION: In a recording mode for recording a moving image file on a plurality of recording media simultaneously, a recording device generates, adds, and records the same identification information to a moving image file to be recorded on a plurality of recording media simultaneously. In this case, when a free space of any of the recording media becomes smaller than a predetermined value, recording is controlled such that a moving image file being recorded on the recording media is closed individually. When a command is issued to stop recording on a specified recording medium among the recording media, recording is controlled such that: a moving image file being recorded on the recording media is closed; recording on the specified recording medium is stopped; and to other unspecified recording media, a new moving image file is opened and identification information having a value different from one for such closed file is added and recorded. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
