<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent useless operations of an electrostatic atomizer using a defrosted water of a cooler as a water source of the electrostatic atomizer. <P>SOLUTION: The refrigerator includes a body having a storage chamber, a cooler for cooling the storage chamber, an electrostatic atomizer having a high-voltage power supply, and a controlling means. The electrostatic atomizer uses a defrosted water of a cooler as a water source, and generates mist by applying a high voltage by the high-voltage power supply.
