<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the stability of an eyewear frame fitted onto the face by matching the surface of a pad body with the curvilinear surface of the nose. <P>SOLUTION: A nose pad 262 that positions an eyewear set vis-a-vis the face comprises a front face 402 that faces the nose when the eyewear set equipped with the nose pad is fitted to the face, and a rear face 404 whose outer circumference is in contact with the outer circumference of the front face and that is on the nose pad fitting side for fitting the nose pad to the eyewear set.
