<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more accurately evaluate singing by appropriately executing octave correction when evaluating singing in Karaoke for scoring. <P>SOLUTION: A singing evaluation apparatus is characterized in executing octave determination processing for extracting differential interval information that is a difference between model interval information synchronized to reproduction of music information and singing interval information detected from input voice signals, and determining singing octaves on the basis of the extracted differential interval information; and comparison processing for comparing singing interval information shifted by singing octaves with the model interval information or comparing the model interval information shifted by singing octaves with the singing interval information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
