<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inner joint for an eaves gutter which has proper water sealability by preventing an adhesive from being scraped off, and a method for connecting the eaves gutter by using the inner joint. <P>SOLUTION: An inner joint 1A for connecting eaves gutters 4 and 4 together includes: an inner joint body 10 comprising a front plate portion 1a, a bottom plate portion 1b and a back plate portion 1c, which are formed in shapes conforming to an inner surface of the eaves gutter 4, where an outer surface of each of the plate portions 1a, 1b and 1c is provided with an adhesive-coated area and the front plate portion 1a and/or the back plate portion 1c are/is rotatable; and an extension member 2 which is inserted in a sliding manner into an inner surface of the inner joint body 10 so as to increase the distance between the front and back plate portions 1a and 1c. Guiding portions 10f, into which the extension member 2 can be inserted in a sliding manner, are formed in the inner surface of the front plate portion 1a of the inner joint body 10 and the inner surface of the back plate portion 1c thereof, respectively. When the inner joint is inserted into the eaves gutter 4 with the distance between the front and back plate portions 1a and 1c shortened by turning the front plate portion 1a and/or the back plate portion 1c, the inner joint can secure proper water sealability without the risk of applied adhesive being scraped off. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
