<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a thermal effect on an actuator in a variable valve mechanism that switches a valve opening lift level and a valve closing timing by the actuator provided in a cylinder head. <P>SOLUTION: The actuator 51 is disposed so that an axis line L2 of an operating axis of a push rod 85 of the actuator 51 crosses a port connection line L3 connecting an entrance center C1 of an intake port 12 of a cylinder head 6 with an outlet port center C2 of an exhaust port 10 in a plan view of the cylinder head 6, and the push rod 85 inclines toward the intake port 12 side to a vertical line L4 that is perpendicular to the port connection line L3, and is extended from a crossing point P1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
