摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cut the manufacturing cost of an electromagnetic induction heating device, as well as to reduce its body size and improve its electrical efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: An electromagnetic induction heating device comprises a conductive heat generating unit 26 created in cylindrical form, an endless core disposed on the periphery of the heat generating unit 26, a primary coil wound round the endless core, and a conductive short circuit member 15 connected to both ends in axial direction of the heat generating unit 26 and provided for short-circuiting both ends of the heat generating unit 26. The short circuit member 15 consists of a short circuit body section 33, which is made of a conductive material having lower electric resistance and higher coefficient of thermal conductivity than the heat generating unit 26 and a conductive material having the same coefficient of thermal conductivity as the heat generating unit 26, and a joining end section 34 which is interposed between both ends of the heat generating unit 26 and the short circuit body section 33.
