<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly take out a pallet from a magazine in a disc library device. <P>SOLUTION: The optical disc library device has a magazine 12 to house a plurality of optical discs. The magazine houses a plurality of pallets 31 and 32 and these pallets includes different types of pallets with differently shaped engaging claws. In the magazine, the different types of the pallets are arranged to lie next to each other. A picker takes out a chosen pallet, using one or more arms. In taking out a chosen pallet, each of these arms engages with an engaging claw of the chosen pallet at a position deviating from other position of engagement with an engaging claw of a pallet next to the chosen pallet. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
