<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanner capable of achieving cost reduction, by using a coupling lens lower in price than an aspheric lens, while suppressing decrease in light use efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: In an optical scanner 100, aberration occurring at a coupling lens 210 comprising a single lens made of glass is compensated by a compensation optical element 250 composed of an aspheric surface. Accordingly, compared with a configuration without the compensation optical element 250, the optical scanner 100 can suppress decrease in light use efficiency and can achieve cost reduction, by using a coupling lens 210 lower in price than an aspheric lens. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
