The invention relates to a device (1) for overcoming an obstacle (2) having two sides (4, 5), in particular a step and/or doorsill. In order to enable physically impaired persons, in particular those who are obliged to use a wheelchair or walking frame, to overcome an obstacle (2), such as a step and/or doorsill, without outside assistance, a device (1) is provided which can be assembled easily and reversibly and simultaneously requires little space. To that end, the device (1) consists of a base element (5) and a supporting body (6), the supporting body (6) being movable by means of a drive (15) between a rest position and a functional position in a rotatory manner about an edge (9) remote from the obstacle (2) and in a translatory manner, in particular horizontally, towards the obstacle (2). |
