Utility model patent that comprises a closure for use on footwear that uses shoelaces for securing footwear on a foot, which will be of a size proportional to the size of the footwear and to the thickness of the shoelace, it being possible for said closure to be of quadrangular, rectangular, etc. shape, which will be affixed to the upper part of the "tongue" of the footwear and composed of two surfaces that are adhesive at the ends thereof, one of said ends having a small pulling device and, therebetween, two smooth surfaces, one of said surfaces being continuous and the other discontinuous in the centre thereof, one of the adhesive surfaces plus the other, smooth surface being continuous, which will be fastened together with the upper part of the "tongue" of the footwear and when said footwear is secured the bow in the shoelace will pass over this smooth surface and the other that will be alongside said surface, but will be loose, will cover the bow and, upon being closed, with the joining of the two adhesive parts and with the positioning of the knot in the bow in the direction of the space, will be thus immobilized, thereby preventing the untying thereof. Depending on requirements, the discontinuous smooth part may likewise be closed like the other part.
