The invention relates to a nozzle body (1), in particular for use in a high pressure cleaning device. Said nozzle body (1) is provided with a ceramic insert (7). A flared flange (12) is provided in order to hold said ceramic insert inside the nozzle body (1) and it simultaneously acts as a seal. Said flared flange (12) is arranged on the rear end of the nozzle body (1) and is flanged when screwing the nozzle body into a threaded hole (13) of the cleaning device on the base surface (15) of the threaded hole (13), in which the nozzle body (1) is correspondingly screwed deep into the threaded hole (13). The risk of damaging the ceramic insert (7) is reduced when some of the pressure forces are not guided into the ceramic insert (7) but into the shaft (3) of the nozzle body (1); also adequate sealing properties can be achieved so rinsing water does not reach the screw (4).
