LIGHTING DEVICE, HEAT TRANSFER STRUCTURE AND HEAT TRANSFER A solid state self ballasted lamp (100), comprising: a solid state light source (110) wherein the light emitted by the solid state light source (110) has a Correlated Color Temperature of 4000K or less and a CRI Ra of at least 90; an electrical connector for connecting to a light socket; and an AC power supply (140) electrically coupled to the electrical connector and configured to receive AC line voltage and provide current to the solid state light source (110); wherein the self ballasted lamp (100) has a wall plug efficiency of at least about 40 delivered lumens per watt.
