BIOMASS GASIFICATION GAS PURIFICATION SYSTEM AND METHOD, METHANOL PRODUCTION SYSTEM AND METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biomass gasification gas purification system and method, for efficiently reforming a tar component in a produced gas by gasification of biomass and preventing a thermal runaway phenomenon, and to provide a methanol production system and method.

SOLUTION: A biomass gasification gas purification system has: a dust removal apparatus 14 that removes soot and dust in a biomass gasification gas (including a tar component) 13 obtained by gasification of biomass using a biomass gasification furnace; a desulfurization apparatus 15 that removes a sulfur oxide component in the biomass gasification gas 13 after dust removal; a pre-reforming reactor 16 that reforms the tar component in the biomass gasification gas 13 after desulfurization; a steam supply means 18 that supplies steam 17 on the upstream side of the pre-reforming reactor 16; and a natural gas supply means 20 that supplies natural gas 19 on the upstream side of the desulfurization apparatus 15.
