<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking brake control device which reduces the risk of reverse movement of a vehicle provided with an electric parking brake system and an idling stop system when a parking brake is automatically released upon releasing of the idling stop. <P>SOLUTION: The parking brake control device is applied to the vehicle provided with the electric parking brake system automatically activating the parking brake by an electric motor, and with an idling stop system automatically stopping an engine, and includes: a parking brake control means (S13) for automatically activating the parking brake when the idling stop is performed; and a parking brake releasing means (S70) for automatically releasing the parking brake when a need for releasing the idling stop and automatic restarting of the engine arises. The parking brake releasing means allows the automatic release provided that start driving force of the vehicle becomes a predetermined value or higher (S60:YES). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
