<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology which estimates a relative difference in the arrival time between a standard reflection sound and other reflection sounds. <P>SOLUTION: When Q is an preset integer no less than 2, a complex amplitude (arrival amplitude) of each of Q reflection sounds (the reflection sound is shown by a function (transfer characteristic function) simulating a transfer characteristic between an optional position in space and multiple microphones for every frequency included in a prescribed frequency bandwidth multiplied by the complex amplitude) is used.
