<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of reducing a torque for moving a shutter and capable of favorably circulating toner between in a toner cartridge and in a developing frame. <P>SOLUTION: A toner cartridge 11 is mounted on a development frame 8 and a shutter is moved from a closing position interposed between a toner seal and a frame seal to an opening position, then while a drawer frame 31 holding the development frame 8 is disposed at a pull-out position, the toner cartridge 11 is moved from a first position where a compression amount of the toner seal and the frame seal is relatively small to a second position where the compression amount is relatively large. Therefore, at the time when the shutter is moved from the closing position to the opening position, the toner cartridge 11 is still disposed at the first position and the compression amount of the toner seal and the frame seal is small, which requires a small torque for moving the shutter. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
