<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device which includes a resistance circuit comprising resistors connected in series and is capable of suppressing the temperature rise of the resistors and securing the insulation distance of the resistors to which a DC high voltage is applied as well. <P>SOLUTION: A resistance circuit 13 is configured by connecting resistors 130 to 137 in series. The resistors 130 to 137 are arranged in a row on a component mounting surface, and connected in series by wiring patterns 140b to 140i. The resistors 130 and 137 disposed at both ends easily discharge heat and the resistors 131 to 136 disposed at locations other than both ends hardly discharge heat, however, the resistance values of the resistors 131 to 136 are set to be smaller than the resistance values of the resistors 130 and 137. Thus, heat generation of the resistors 131 to 136 is suppressed more than heat generation of the resistors 130 and 137. Thus, the temperature rise of the resistors 130 to 137 is suppressed. Also, the resistors 130 to 137 are not brought into contact with the same heat conductive member comprising a metallic material as before.
