<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the convenience by significantly reducing a workload of a user when he or she goes back to a previous page of a material for writing upon and rewrites it. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic writing apparatus includes an electronic pen 2. The coordinate data of the electronic pen 2 is calculated based on a result of reception of a magnetic field from the electronic pen 2. A mode of the electronic pen 2 is determined based on the frequency of the magnetic field from the electronic pen 2. A writing stroke data is generated by using the calculated coordinate data. In a state in which it is determined that a character input mode is selected, a page number is assigned to the generated writing stroke data and stored in association with the generated writing stroke data. When it is determined that the character input mode is switched to a page retrieval mode and a retrieval stroke data is generated, the stored page number associated with the writing stroke data that corresponds to the retrieval stroke data is obtained from the stored writing stroke data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
