<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IC card reader/writer which is user-friendly and can treat both an IC card which can be inserted into an insertion slot and a potable phone which cannot be inserted into the same. <P>SOLUTION: An IC card reader/writer comprises: a first antenna 81 for performing non-contact communication with an IC card 150 in a first communication area AR11; a second antenna 78 for performing non-contact communication with a communication target (portable phone 155) in a second communication area (outside of a case 41); and switching means (relays 310) for selectively switching between the first antenna 81 and the second antenna 78. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
