<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a corrugated fiberboard box to be locked by a procedure that can be easily and immediately understood and to be kept quadruple-folded. <P>SOLUTION: In the corrugated fiberboard box, a pair of long side sheets 1 and a pair of short side sheets 2 are provided alternately and continuously to form a peripheral wall. Flaps 4 and 5 are continuously provided to the side sheets 1 and 2 respectively. A folding line 6 is formed in flaps 4 connected to one long side sheet 1. After double-folded along a ridge line located on the diagonal of the peripheral wall, the corrugated fiberboard box is quadruple-folded by using the folding line 6 as a valley folding line, and the quadruple-folded state is kept by a lock mechanism. To form the lock mechanism, a cut is made in the outer end of a flap 4 of a long side sheet, which is exposed on the outside when the corrugated fiberboard box is quadruple-folded, to provide an engagement piece 7 overhanging inward toward the front end, and a cutout 8, through which the bent engagement piece 7 is to be passed, is made in a flap 5 of a short side, which overlaps with the same.
