<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aramid fiber with excellent rubber adhesion, a method for manufacturing the same, and a rubber material using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The aramid fiber for rubber reinforcement comprises an aramid polymer. The aramid fiber contains carbon black with an average particle diameter of 10 μm or less. The percentage of the area covered by the carbon black in the total surface area of the aramid fiber is 10 to 70%. The rubber material uses the aramid fiber for rubber reinforcement. Moreover, a spinning solution comprising the aramid polymer, 3 to 50 wt.% (based on the weight of the aramid polymer) of the carbon black with an average particle diameter of 10 μm or less, and a solvent is discharged from a nozzle, solidified in a coagulation bath, desolvated and dried to form an aramid fiber. This aramid fiber is added with an abrasive and subjected to an abrasion process to produce the aramid fiber in which the percentage of the area covered by the carbon black in the total surface area of the aramid fiber is 10 to 70%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
