<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to more easily get on/off an elevator. <P>SOLUTION: An elevator door device includes a door and a control device. The door allows opening/closing of the entrance/exit of an elevator car. The door is configured to allow its fully-opened position to be changed between a first position and a second position having a larger opening width than that of the first position.
