<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide non-aqueous prostaglandin E compound dosage forms suitable for the treatment of sexual dysfunction or the like, in male as well as female patients. <P>SOLUTION: In the packaged prostaglandin E dosage form containing a sealed actives compartment and a sealed inerts compartment, the sealed actives compartment contains: 0.025 to 10 pts.wt. of a prostaglandin E<SB POS="POST">1</SB>; 0.025 to 10 parts pts.wt. of dodecyl 2-(N,N-dimethylamino)-propionate or a salt thereof; and 1-50 pts.wt. of lactose. Also, the sealed inerts compartment contains: 0.05 to 2.5 pts.wt. of hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose; 0.001 to 5 pts.wt. of silicone antifoam agent; 0.5-25 pts.wt. of hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin, 5-75 pts.wt. of ethanol, and 5-75 pts.wt. of water. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
