The fixing apparatus of an orthodontic device of the present invention is implanted into the bone in the oral cavity to provide a supporting force to an orthodontic device connected to a set of teeth subject to orthodontic treatment. The apparatus of the present invention comprises a plate having a plate main body, a plurality of fixing holes, and a female screw thread formed at the inner circumferential surface of the fixing hole; a leg protruding from the lower surface of the plate; and a bone screw which has a screw thread for insertion which is coupled with the fixing hole and inserted into the bone, and a screw thread for coupling which is screwed into the female screw thread of the plate. When the plate is fixed to the bone by the bone screw, the leg comes into contact with the bone to support the plate, and separates the plate from the soft tissue covering the bone. Since a certain distance is maintained between the soft tissue and the plate, the plate does not press the soft tissue, and problems such as tissue necrosis, inflammation, and infection are prevented. |
