Disclosed is a method for simulating the propagation of waves in a structured three-dimensional body, in which rectilinear beams are predefined from a source in a plurality of directions in space, said beams are extended in a reflecting and/or transmitting manner taking into account the respective laws of refraction in case the beams are incident on the predefined structures of the three-dimensional body, the distance traveled by said constructed beams is determined during the simulation and a condition for stopping the simulation is verified, said condition depending on the distance and/or structure, the further construction of the respective beams is stopped if the condition for stopping the simulation is met, verification is made as to whether the further constructed beams are geometrically incident on a predefined target area, and a wave model is constructed in the target area, on the basis of the associated distance, exclusively from the beams that are incident on the target area taking into account the respective condition for stopping the simulation. |
