<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide compositions and methods that are useful for modulating vascular development. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention relates to antibodies that bind to the Epidermal Growth Factor-Like Domain 7 (EGFL7). The antibodies are produced by expressing vectors containing polynucleotides in a host cell, wherein the polynucleotides code the antibodies. The administration of the antibodies or a composition containing the antibodies, preferably the further administration of anti-angiogenic agent, enables angiogenesis in a subject having a pathological condition associated with angiogenesis to be reduced or inhibited. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
