<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting system capable of leading out light of a light source made incident from an incident face of a light guide plate from an emitting face at a prescribed angle, without attenuating by multiple reflection inside the light guide plate. <P>SOLUTION: The lighting system comprises a power receiving part to which power is supplied from the outside, a power source part which is connected to the power receiving part and converts the power to a prescribed driving power, a light source part which is connected to the power source part and emits light by the driving power, a case part which houses the power source part and the light source part, and a light guide part which is provided projecting from the case part and leads out light of the light source part made incident from the incident face from an emitting face formed in curvature or in plane.
