<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stock management system of a process control device in a process plant. <P>SOLUTION: The system includes a workstation, a database for storing meter specification data of one or more process control devices for controlling a process executed in a process plant environment, a wireless gateway for wirelessly communicating with the process control devices, a communication bus for interconnecting the wireless gateway, the workstation and the database, and a stock control application (AP) executed in the workstation. The stock control AP refers to a process control device through the wireless gateway so as to receive device data from the received process control device, further accesses the database to acquire meter specification data of the received process control device, and compares the received device data with the acquired meter specification data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
